- Statistics IThe course is an introduction to the basic concepts of descriptive statistics and the quantitative research approach. - Statistics IIThe course is addressed both to students who wish to do a thesis and to students who wish to participate in a postgraduate program after their studies. It is an introduction to the basic concepts of inductive statistics and the quantitative research approach in general. The basic aim of the course is for the students to get to know and familiarize themselves with the controls of inductive statistics for the analysis of qualitative and quantitative research data which are collected during the investigation of social phenomena. In presenting the basic concepts and processes of data analysis, real research examples in the field of education will be used. Also, the data analysis will be carried out in the SPSS digital environment.View lesson ↗
- Conducting Educational Research: from theory to practiceThe course is addressed both to students who wish to prepare a thesis, and to those who plan to participate in a postgraduate program after completing their studies. The aim of the course is to familiarize the students with the procedures and issues of the research process, through the preparation of a small-scale empirical research. Initially, students learn to carry out a literature review and present its results in a synthetic way. Then, the research objectives are determined and the appropriate research design is developed. The course concludes with the pilot application of the research and the writing of the final paper.View lesson ↗

- Educational Research Methodology: Quantitative Approaches (MEEPP)The course is an introduction to the basic concepts of quantitative research approach, descriptive and inductive statistics. The purpose of the course is for postgraduate students to get to know and familiarize themselves with: the methods of analysis of research data which are collected during the investigation of social phenomena following the quantitative methodological approach, the SPSS statistical data processing environment as well as the appropriate statistical controls for quantitative data analysis.View lesson ↗
